Roger Federer beat Rafael Nadal in 5 sets to win his 5th straight Wimbledon title. Now the talk has begun of where Federer holds his place in history. Is he the best ever? Is the field of competition too weak? My thoughts are as long as we are done talking about Andy Roddick, I could really care less. But seriously, It will be a while before someone will come along with the type of dominance Federer has. Nadal is close, but unless it is on clay, he must play flawless to win. On the other hand, as GREAT as Roger is, I refuse to crown the Swede as best ever until he wins a tourney on clay.....Against Rafael Nadal.
